Grown up conversations
Yeomans is a visionary marketing agency founded on Christian principles, working alongside many charities and Christian organisations. Yeomans provides support in both a commercial capacity and through its involvement in programmes that provide education, support and practical benefits for people in need.
It began in 2004 with two men who had a vision to serve the Christian and charitable markets, providing them with a valuable standard of service never seen before.
“Yeomans has undergone radical changes since we first began”, says MD Alistair Hill. “We originally set out to supply Christian charities with well-managed print and now our service offering is practically unrecognisable from the early days.”
Fundraising and marketing communications have grown up, where once the only methods of communication were printed materials and the telephone, now there’s much more choice; email, websites, video, social media and mobile. The newer media offer new opportunities for charities to connect with their audiences too. Relationships with supporters have always required dialogue, not broadcast, and today’s channels enable direct, instantaneous communication with individuals. Today’s successful marketing and fundraising is all about conversations, harnessing the technology to really involve your supporters in what you do.
As the conversations have grown up, so has Yeomans. As a business you have to respond to what your customers need – as a Christian-run business you have to respond to what God calls you to, as well. Change isn’t about reinventing the wheel, it’s about growth.
Yeomans has grown, not just in size, but in shape too. The last year has been a real time of abiding and setting firm foundations for the future. Last May we unveiled the new face of Yeomans, building upon our strengths of the past and offering our clients an even better package of services for the future.
Our core values haven’t changed, after all why would they? Because the way in which people communicate has and the economy has – successful charities and the businesses that support them have got to be even smarter in their marketing approach, taking advantage of technology, new media opportunities and good intelligence. Resources have never been tighter and charities need to know that the investment they make in their marketing programmes has to give returns.
